aerolitheOS 32-Bit x86 RTOS- Object Orientation At the System's Base
aerolitheOS is our object oriented 32-bit protected mode realtime operating system dedicated to
the native x86 hardware platform. This RTOS does not only support object orientied programming
languages like so many other solutions but itself consists of objects from its rare base up to its higher
layers.
Instead of combining different components to form an OS environment
with object oriented programming interfaces, we offer a complete and compact RTOS that directly
consists of object classes customizable at runtime, i.e. by replacing existing or adding new classes with
object oriented programming techniques using ANSI C or poeREXX, an object oriented dialect of the
popular REXX language.
This concept does not only simplify the system but also results in a complete software development environment. With aerolitheOS you do not need an RTOS, runtime
environments and development systems but get all that in one single product, offering:
- Object oriented runtime services for binary and interpreted class packages.

class is maintained separately from its implementation with PIDL, an Interface Definition Language.

applications: Besides the chip, you only need aerolitheOS and base programming experiences in C to
